Intuitive Counselor, Coach & Medium
About Me
I am an intuitive, counselor, coach and medium. I specialize in life transitions, whether it be around death and upheaval or career, relationship and our life’s purpose. I work one-on-one with clients in my office or by phone and video. Clients either work with me in an ongoing fashion or in individual intuitive sessions as needed. In addition, I lead several classes annually and one residential retreat where participants take a deeper dive into a particular area of need while learning new, powerful tools for integrating their insights into life.
Experience
In 2015, my daughter, Delaney was born still. Her death was an event that changed every part of my life and work. Insights and practices I had previously used on my clients were now used on me. I developed an intimacy with loss and grief that connected me to my own gifts, and my clients, like never before. I have a Grief Intuitive Coaching Certification through Sue Frederick. I have more than 12 years of ongoing Vajrayana Buddhist practice. I also have an academic and professional background in education that supports my counseling skills.
Education
I received my Masters of Education in 1999 and worked with the underprivileged in the Philadelphia School District. My work has been featured in the Yoga Journal and am currently authoring a book on how to harness your intuitive skills. I receive ongoing intuitive training through the High Heart Healing School in Boulder Colorado.
What is intuitive counseling?
I read the energy that is present in the body of my client at the time of their session. This is important because we are dynamic creatures changing moment to moment. These changes also affect the energy that we carry with us. That energy holds our truth, and if listened to carefully it guides us towards our life’s purpose, the right partnership or a deeper more intimate relationship with ourselves and other.
In order to read this energy, I speak with Spirit and I open myself intuitively to avail the areas of a your life that need guidance. I am often offered insight from your childhood that reveals why you are stuck in a particular area of your life or even gain feedback from a deceased loved one that depicts where the next leg of your journey should begin. Each session is different and each client is read as if I have never met them before.
The session might feel a bit like counseling and also kept very conversational because Spirit likes to guide not tell. Often times you will leave with a variety of exercises or suggestions for how to overcome obstacles identified in our session. Client’s often report feeling excited, motivated and empowered when leaving their session.
We as humans have free will. We are always positioned to change and enrich our lives at any time just by changing the direction of our feet. My aim is to offer that to all of my client’s in every single session. My style is warm, engaging and deeply empathic. I am known for my directness and my lively sense of humor. Work with me is real and powerful, and geared towards clearing out the blockages that stand in the way of healing and growth.
I work one on one with my clients in my office and also by phone or video. That means you don’t have to be local to work with me.
